The deadline for applications is 15th December 2021. We are very welcome researchers to join the HySAFER team – one of the key providers of hydrogen safety research and education globally.
- There are as well PhD opportunities at Ulster University in hydrogen safety through the UK EPSRC CDT “Sustainable Hydrogen” project (4-years studentships). Four projects in hydrogen safety are available for 2022 intake (project details can be found at: https://www.sustainablehydrogen-cdt.ac.uk/documents/sushy-projects-v2-30-nov-2021.pdf):
- Safety strategies and engineering solutions for hydrogen heavy-duty vehicles.
- Hydrogen safety in rail applications.
- Hydrogen safety for marine vessels and port infrastructure.
- Safety of liquid and cryogenic hydrogen in energy applications.
